Three Online Casino Operators Awarded Licenses in Nevada

- After months of build-up, the Nevada Gaming Commission has issued the first round of online casino games licenses in the state. The companies to receive licensure include International Game Technology (IGT), Bally Technologies Incorporated and William Hill.
The move opens the door for the three top rated online casino games companies to enter a new market in the United States. Experts believe that the US online casino business could be worth up to an estimated $13.4 billion in five years.
Richard Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer for Bally Techonolgies stated, “We look forward to Bally expanding its leadership role in this exciting new arena of online gaming.” The company will be providing iGaming platform technology and content to casino operators in Nevada.
William Hill Chief Executive Ralph Topping commented on the license acquisition, ‘We are delighted to have been awarded a license by the Nevada Gaming Commission, a license recognized around the world as a significant regulatory seal of approval and we are proud to have earned it. We are now able to bring together these businesses to create a leading position in the US sports betting market, combining our brand and product range with AWI, Brandywine and Cal Neva’s extensive footprint, strong local relationships and trusted service.
