Playtech Announces New Game Releases

The popular online casino game software developer Playtech has announced the release of new games for the new year.  The new casino games include Fishing Buddies and Desert Treasure II.

Fishing Buddies is a multiplayer slot game.  Up to 5 players can simultaneously play.  Players can choose from an array of 3D Bear avatars.  Though every player wagers separately, all the players can see each other’s wins and losses.  One of the game’s more interesting features is the time factor; the speed at which a player progresses can effect his or her ability to take part in the bonus rounds.  The game features a bonus round with two levels.  Only three players from the first bonus round make it into the second bonus round in which they can win additional prizes.

Desert Treasure II is also a video slot game.  This game is a follow up to Playtech’s popular Desert Treasure title.  The new game features the same symbols but with much improved graphic design.  There are also differences in game play.  The Golden Cobra, one just a wild symbol, is now an expanding wild symbol.  The new free spins feature offers 25 spins in stead of ten free spins that were offered in the previous version.  The biggest improvement is seen in the bonus game; it features multiple levels. 

The first one is an oasis featuring treasure chests.  One chest contains the map required to reach the second level.  The map can lead to two different places in which the second stage can play out: the Hidden Sanctum or the Secret Tent.  At each stage the player has more chances to win cash prizes.  Online casino reviews praised the improved version.
