Casinos Report Thousands of unused Bonus Codes and Loyalty Points

Just recently some of the online casino’s marketing departments have been counting up their mass of idle accounts with loyalty points and bonus codes still unclaimed.

The result of this mass count up was staggeringly shocking as they have accounts that have remained idle with literally thousands of players missing out on bonus offers, unused loyalty points, and even some accounts with low balances that could be used on double bonus days.

Now they are trying to find a way to reach these customers to just get them back onto the casino site and use their free play chances of making a little a cash. Some players may have exited because they were on a severe losing streak, but the casinos say that every down swing has an upswing, so any players that get back online now with what little they may have left could find themselves coming back into an upswing.

Casino payers have surprisingly underestimated the value of their loyalty points in many cases. Some accounts have been idle for years with tens of thousands of loyalty points sometimes worth hundreds of dollars if cashed up or used for bonus play.

For the marketing departments and the VIP sections this is something that they want to stop. Customers are just not claiming back what they deserve. It is not fair that they play for such a long time and build up special VIP statuses to then not use them. What the casinos want is to get the players playing back at the tables even if they are playing for free money or bonuses.

Now one of the challenges is to make players aware and try to reach those who have built up the opportunity to either claim exclusive bonus deals such as privileged casino bonuses, no deposit bonuses with free chips, or to claim cash or free play to turn loyalty points into cash.

One piece of advice is to set-up an email address that is purely for gambling needs. This may mean the casinos will start their own email servers to ensure customers get their promotional emails. This would also help the casino target players who still have the chance to cash up free money on the tables by sending emails that explain exactly how they can do so. The line of thought behind this idea is that having a select email address that relates solely to the casino would also fight spam.

Right now the amount of spam floating around the web and making its way into customer inboxes has been a huge problem. With players clicking the spam button they may mistakenly spam the casino deals or simply miss the casinos emails because the spam going into their email account is out of control.

Many players with casino memberships on multiple sites in fact set-up an email address that they use only for their online gambling needs. This way they never miss a casino bonus, and it is easier to spot spam they don’t want.

It is a travesty that there is literally millions of dollars of unclaimed money that can be played on the tables, and it is money the casinos don’t want to keep. Rather they would like to see their customers take advantage of what they have while adding to the overall number of players playing on the site.
