With social gaming becoming the latest thing to hit the online casino games industry and the recent announcement that Facebook has made a deal with Gamesys to offer real money casino games, top rated online casino operators all over the world are looking to get in on the action.

Earlier in the month it was reported that Gamesys and Facebook came to a mutual agreement where the online casino games brand would offer real money Bingo and Slots games through an app on the social site. This changes the nature of how the industry has operated to this point, which has been on a credit system. The new app presented by Gamesys will have a series of 90-Ball Bingo and Slots games.

Brian Mattingley, Chief Executive Officer of top rated online casino games site, 888, has has spoken out about being in initial discussions with Facebook over its own opportunity to debut real-money gaming on the social platform.

Facebook has not given any statement beyond the notion that it has no plans to expand real-money gaming opportunities beyond the agreement it has already made.

Facebook has referred to the partnership with Gamesys as a private commercial agreement. With the credit system currently, Facebook takes 30% of the cost of transactions made on the social network if non-cash games players purchase Facebook credits to use on the games. Facebook has not commented on the details of the agreement surrounding the new application, stating simply that it is “commercially sensitive information.”
