- 04/29/2012By Pamela PattersonGoogle
Denmark recently regulated their online casino games industry, which means that business is in full swing in the European country. One casino is looking to stay ahead of the competition by launching a three-tiered campaign across various mediums. EU Casino, a top rated online casino, will attempt to attract to business by beginning a three-month advertising campaign on TV, radio and print.
EU Casino will invest about 500,000 Euros into the campaign. Additionally, the casino will release a variety of exclusive 3D games, live dealers and unique player experiences through its software provider, SkillOnNet. The casino will attempt to become one of the best online casinos in the country.
The company will target the Danish male population, the most significant group in the casino games online business, by airing their campaign on Danish channel TV3 as well as the popular radio station, NRG.
On January 1, 2012, authorities opened the casino games online market in Denmark. The Danish Gambling Authority issued thirty-eight operators a total of fifty-five licenses giving them permission to do business in the country. The companies that received licenses included nine Danish operators as well as a few international no deposit online casinos like 888, PokerStars, Betfair, Betsson, Cryptologic and UniBet.
Other countries within the European Union are taking a cue from Denmark, Spain and Italy and are exploring online casino games regulation and legislation.
